We get out of town

Woke up and had to GTFODC or MB.

There were so many bikers, sitting at the light out of the hotel (ok, we cruised the drag one last time, but there was a starbucks there, so it was not all just to drop the top and cruse with the bikers) there must have been 200 bikers that went by in a 20 seconds, it was amazing, I wish we could stay to see how the rest of the week turns out, I hear it just crazier and crazier, the on memorial weekend is black biker week, which is supposed to be even crazier.

I'm sitting in the tiny jet back to Houston, and it is freezing right now, some heat up in this plane would be nice.

All the people (AKA the one flight attendant) that work these flights are kids and they are not very good, my coke, damn continental has no more Dr Pepper, came with a plastic cup of ice that was 3/4 full of water, its not like I can dump that water out, I have to drink it, and after I had it sip, it was pretty gross, so the can was where it was at, damn coke out of a can.

Now I am stuck on the tarmac for an estimated hour, ugh, this is the suck, and hopefully my IAH->AUS flight is delayed also, or else I'm going to miss it. And NOW it is hot.

Darlington

Ed and I snaked our way up to Darlington to go see the race. Before hand we got in touch with our cousins who lived up there, they were all really nice. After some family history and what not we headed to the race and oh man was it crazy.

First of all I couldn't believe how many teenagers were there, and especially teenage girls, this did not seem like an even that you get all fancied up for then go have little bits of rubber thrown all over you for the next 3 hours. But I guess there is not much to do around here, so whatever the big event is, you go.

Being 6 rows back, the sound was very intense. Talking was near impossible, especially if there was a large pack of cars going by.

The level of drunkenness at this event was amazing. I’d say 4/5 people were beyond drunk and the other 1/5 was drunk via association.

I don't <3 to travel

There is nothing like being trapped in flying sardine can with 52 other most likely heavy germ infested individuals to make you hate flying. Well 49 other passengers, 1 crew, and 2 pilots. And they are all fat and spilling out of their seat. People say the South has prettier girls, well, that’s for sure true, but we got some pretty ugly fat women down here. It’s like redneck central on this flight. I guess I can’t say anything about that since I'm on a plane to South Carolina to stay in Myrtle Beach during Biker Week and then go to a NASCAR race.

Well, Ed missed his flight out of LAX, and that means I will be stuck in stupid Columbia for 6 hours before we can make the drive out to Myrtle Beach. I thought about just going by my self, but its 170 miles. So that's a no go.

Why the hell do people put their seats back, they should know, there just isn’t enough room, I think they should get rid of reclining seats, they infringe on the rights of other people, I like my space, and he didn't ask to take it away from me.

Poor elder businessman next to me is having his knees smashed.

There are a great number of bikers on this flight, it's hilarious. I guess they don't want to bring their bikes in.

Ok, so travel update for those people that would like to stalk me:

Back to Austin from South Carolina on Sunday, then to Houston for Tuesday and Wednesday, then out to LA that weekend, then off to China on the 25th, then to Japan on the 2nd, the back to LA on the 7th, then back to Austin on the 10th, then to Boca during the week, then a break with Beck at the backyard, then to Houston, the to Guatemala, Cancun, and then off to an island in the Caribbean for a few months. Get it got it good.

Ps old man next to me is either dead or asleep, cant tell, but he has the key elbow spot, so typing sucks, oh the totally moved, so he asleep, damn, that means I can't move his arm.

I think some old lady just called the black guy (we are talking a 45 year old businessman) boy. Ah the Carolina types.

I've got 6 hours to kill till Ed gets here, that is if he gets here.

babies

Why do people travel with their young babies. It is only trouble for everyone. Stop doing it.

Back

Back in austin and the tree is still down in my yard. Damn, I was hoping the city would deal with it since it is sticking in the road a bit. Anyone want to come over and clear it for me, GWB, I'm looking at you. I don't want to pay some idiot dude 350 bucks (one estimate from Johnny Montejano) to get rid of it.

Cinco de Mayo

I'm in Houston for the "holiday." Plus I'm avoiding doing anything about the tree that is in my backyard.

Power out

Well, thank god for backup power supplies. Power out, but I've still got internet.

And a tree fell on my garage, damage looks minimal though.

There is a tree on my neighbors house though, thats got to suck.

And there was hail.

Fun day in Austin
